For a few years now we’ve talked about having a family get-together of some sort. This year we went ahead and reserved a house in Savannah, Georgia. With a few month’s notice and everyone’s buy-in, the family gathering finally happened. It was certainly nice to get together without the event of a funeral or wedding.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the sights from the week:<\/p>\n

Sitting in the airplane, waiting for everyone to settle<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Two visits to the bookstore resulted in this – think I should go back and add some words to the books<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sitting in the shade under the pavilion at Tybee Island beach<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Most of these are sketches with a micron pen, occasionally with watercolor added. A few are a Lamy fountain pen or a dip pen with the fountain pen ink.<\/p>\n
